Another Cardboard Box Review. This one is of the ACM M500 gas shotgun. I got this from Pyramyd Air for review – it’s running 5 on their site under “Pre-Owned” guns. It’s a fun shotty with pretty good range and shoots 5 bbs per shot.

do u need 2 pump it every shot?
@1575biohazard Yes you do. However, Pyramyd Air sells one from Walther that you don’t have to pump each time. Check out that review on Airsoft Retreat – it’s under “gas guns”.
FPS?
@USMCProtector Hard to rate for almost all shotguns with mutliple BBs coming out. Most say in the low-300s.
@CQBRadio ok cool thanks. i’ve been looking for a gas shotgun but dont really know what to get…
@USMCProtector What’s your price range?
@USMCProtector FPS means Feet Per Second.
@TomDonehugh Yes, I know that.
@CQBRadio below $215 for a shotgun.
@USMCProtector For that price range this is really it – the rest run quite a bit more.
You also should start to “TEST” the guns as in shoot them!!
are these pumps like much more easier to cock than a spring one? like no strength needed? bc i kinda would like a shotgun and a gas pistol combo lol
@AirsoftGunsAndBbGuns Yeah – easier to rack for sure.
do the bbs rattle around in the loading tubes?
@therussianredneck7 a bit, but less than what a hi-cap sounds like.
@CQBRadio cool thanks i am going to save some money and buy one
Okay I’ve been looking for this gun and it seems the only place that had it was airsplat. But when I sent them an email asking if it was the five shot version the reply email seemed ill informed. Does anyone know if the one they sell is the 6mm version?
Bob, It is from what I know. Pyramyd air sells it too – look at the preowned section
@CQBRadio Where should I get this version? On PyramidAir, they only have the short, dinky little trench-gun variant. On Evike, they advertise pics of THIS one but then have a video showing a review of the trench-gun model on the same page. Is it just a coincidence and should I get it from Evike? Or is there another website where I can get THIS one for cheaper and not have to start an account on?
@Transformers2themax PAir no longer carries it – Evike’s your best bet.
@CQBRadio Thanks for the second opinion. My only problem with Evike is that you have to start an account on their website in order to buy something from them. Well, I guess I could order the Mossberg from Evike but through Google. Is that good idea?
Is this shotgun able to accept “real steel” Mossberg 500 accessories? Mainly I’d probably want to change the stock. How is it connected to the gun?
gas like co2 tanks, like one would use with a co2 revolver?
@TheWeeklyRepository Nope – like gas from propane via an adapter.
